Daffodil Parade

This Saturday the Stadium Bands will be marching in all four of the Daffodil Parades.  We will be meeting at Stadium for a rehearsal at 8:30 AM.  Please be on time!  After our rehearsal we will be boarding busses at Stadium.  The Tacoma parade begins at 10:30 AM, but we need to be in place at 9:45 AM.  After the Tacoma parade we will hop back on the busses and head to Puyallup for the parade at 1:00 PM.  Sumner parade is at 3:00 PM and the Orting parade is at 5:00 PM.  Please have students pack a sack lunch.  All students need to be wearing jeans and the new pep band shirt for this year.  Pep shirts can be purchased from Mr. Mulkins for $11.

If the weather does not cooperate, we will still be marching.  Have students bring appropriate clothing or a poncho.

URGENT! Concert Date Change!

Due to the HSPE testing, I was notified on Tuesday that we needed to move our concerts. After working with the rest of the music department we have successfully moved the concerts to Monday, March 22nd and Tuesday the 23rd. Monday will be the Cadet and Symphonic Bands along with Big Band. Tuesday will be the Jazz Band and the Concert Band. Evening rehearsal was moved to the 18th. Cadet Band will rehearse at 5:00 PM, and Symphonic Band at 6:00 PM.

I know that many of you have worked to move athletic events and other conflicts just to make it work as it was originally scheduled. I am really sorry for this major inconvenience. It is completely out of my control. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

CWU Festival Tomorrow

This Saturday the Stadium High School Concert Band will be traveling to Central Washington University for the CWU Band Festival. Students need to be at Stadium at 6:30 AM. We will be leaving Ellensburg around 6:00 PM. Students need to either bring food or money for food. We will be eating both lunch and dinner in Ellensburg.

I have arranged for two charter busses to take us over and back, the estimated cost of these busses is around $3,000. I am asking at this time for students to help pay for half that cost. If every student could bring in $15 for the bus, that would be ideal. Money would need to be turned in to Mrs. Dennett, with checks being made out to Stadium High School.
